Restorative Training Instructors

cheri clampettCheri Clampett, ERYT-500, is a certified yoga teacher with over 25 years of experience. She is the founder and director of the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program. Cheri is an alumni of the White Lotus Foundation's Yoga Teacher and Advanced Teacher Trainings, and has led retreats and guest teaching positions for the foundation. She co-led the Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher training and has presented Yoga at Beth Israel Medical Center and Rusk Institute at NYU Langone Medical Center. Cheri currently teaches yoga at the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara, where she founded the yoga program for cancer patients in 1999. She teaches monthly workshops at the Santa Barbara Yoga Center, and brings Restorative Yoga to the Santa Barbara Healing Sanctuary retreats. As a certified yoga teacher, Cheri focuses on the nurturing and wellbeing aspects of yoga: freeing the body, breath and flow of energy through practicing with awareness, compassion and love. Cheri is co-author of the Therapeutic Yoga Kit, published in January 2009.


arturo pealArturo Peal, MA, (TCM), LMP, co-founder of the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program who as a yoga teacher  has instructed anatomy and kinesiology since 1989. Arturo brings his expertise in anatomy, Chinese medicine and body kinesiology to the Restorative Yoga Training Program, Laughing Lotus teacher training, Rainbow Kids Yoga International teacher training, Face Force Yoga, and other programs around the world. His diverse background provides him with the ability to help students and clients fully understand the multi-dimensional nature of the human body. Arturo teaches Restorative Yoga classes at the Yoga Dojo in Santa Barbara. He is also a fourth-degree black belt in Aikido and teaches self-defense for adults and children. Arturo has been the co-leader of the Restorative Yoga Training with Cheri Clampett at the White Lotus Foundation for many years.
