Love
No one likes to start out speaking negatively, especially when writing about love. But lately, we have been thinking a lot about the great unloved, and how devastating it is for a society and civilization when people do not have the ability to give or receive love. Love is essential to our being as human beings. Love, care, empathy, kindness, and compassion are words that can only point to the emotions, expressions, actions, or ingredients necessary to nurture us and that help us flourish as a species. Love manifests in many ways. Love is a blessing. Love is a necessity.
“We can explain love but love itself remains beyond words.”
“Love is the flowering of the universe, the greatest mystery and miracle in life. Love is beyond definition. No matter how much love you use, give, or receive, it is all still there, never diminished.”

Consolations
“Why do we choose the worse and not the better, why hate rather than love, why greed and not generosity? Why be mean when there are soaring mountains and flashing streams? Why jealousy and not love? Why?”
“Love is not the opposite of hate.”
“To love is to be aware of eternity.”
