Twice As Nice Ice

You can conjure up a favorite from your farmers market or your end of summer garden. Sit back, sip or spoon, and stay hydrated with super, satisfying flavors from recipes and inspirations below.

Mint simple syrup soda, or mint ice
Rosemary simple syrup soda, or rosemary ice
Lemon balm simple syrup soda, or lemon balm ice
Chamomile simple syrup soda, or chamomile ice
Hibiscus simple syrup soda, or hibiscus ice
Lemon, lime, tangerine, or orange simple syrup, or citrus ice
Strawberry or blueberry simple syrup soda, or berry ice
Vanilla or almond extract soda
Orange blossom or rose water soda

Simple Syrup
Bring equal parts sugar and water to a slow boil stirring until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add herbs, fruits, citrus peel, or flowers. Steep up to 24 hours. When syrup reaches room temp, transfer into a glass container and store in the fridge.

Blend 8oz of any type or mixture of berries with1 cup of vinegar of your choice like apple cider or white balsamic. Pour into tightly closed glass container and place in fridge for 24-48 hours. Strain. Place mixture into a pot, adding 1 cup sugar and simmer until the sugar dissolves. Add a pinch of sea salt. Return mixture to glass container and place back in fridge and cool for at least two hours.

1 cup ice crushed in the blender
shrub, simple syrup, or extract of your choice
optional maple syrup or monk fruit sweetener

Crush ice in blender. Fill short glass with crushed ice and add a simple syrup. Eat with a spoon like a classic ice. Or fill a tall glass with crushed ice. Pour in vinegar shrub or simple syrup, add soda, and sip with a metal straw for an extra cool sensation.
